Infection Control Education and Training Program

IPCxpert evaluates staff educational needs and ensures that appropriate and mandatory education is provided via on-site service and/or computer-based learning. IPCxpert confirms that the education program for the medical and nursing staff regarding infection prevention and control best practices are developed and delivered.

IPCxpert works with your facility to address accreditation standards in its plan, policies, and procedures. We also deliver education on: national patient safety goals, The Joint Commission (TJC) updated infection control standards, TJC Safer Matrix interpretation/action plan, National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) surveillance definition updates, new infection prevention related products/ best practices, infection control software education and build-up, infection control competencies checklist, environmental cleaning/disinfection, high-level disinfection, sterilization, construction in healthcare facilities, and tools for prevention of hospital-acquired infection.

Additionally, IPCxpert provides boot camp training for patient safety tools such as apparent cause analysis, root cause analysis, and “Plan-Do-Study-Act' (PDSA) to reduce hospital-acquired infection (HAI). To sustain achieved improvement, we utilize Lean and Six Sigma modules such as Gate tables, A3 Lean, and Kamishibai (K) card.
